Cool Machine is an online concept store dedicated to contemporary craft, art and slow design that triggers contemplation, curiosity and fun as if you truly visit an art gallery.
Young talents, craftpeople, emerging artists and designers are carefully curated all around the globe. Selected creations, unique pieces or small series, are quirky and charismatic. They mingle with each other with harmony.
Their inspirations reveal modern and vintage influences, often attributed to the Bauhaus, L’Art Deco and the Memphis Milano movement. Cool Machine is free from the frantic pace of fashion by offering unique pieces that you never get tired of.
Since the launch of its online store in 2015, Cool Machine has affirmed its identity through strong visuals, bold colors and a neat aesthetic, the signature of its universe.

She’s the creator, curator, the A.D., but also the little hands whose prepare and take care of your orders. She studied aesthetic, briefly worked as a make up artist then fell in love with fashion and color. She developed a deep interest for art and artisanat and needed to share it through Cool Machine, mixing contemporary and vintage influences. She’s got a problem with vases, she’s an addict. On Instagram 12 hours a day looking for inspiration, new designers and for manage her 4 accounts. Always overwatched by Edouard. Never stops.

Edouard is a couteau-suisse. He intervents in the technical processes as the website managing, putting a lot of (useful) plug-ins in WordPress, the webdesign, strategy and analysis to make your experience better. He’s also a logistic fantastic and the newsletter author. He takes part in the photos sets and makes videos. Minimum 1L of fresh coffee a day. Always disturbed by Hélène. Always splitting hairs.

How can I place my order?

You can place your order by Internet 24h / 24h and 7d / 7d. The ordering process consists of 6 successive steps:
– clearly identify the selected products with the colour options, sizes, … indicated on the site,
– indicate the quantities requested per product,
– identify yourself by entering your username and password which are strictly personal, or by mentioning all the information usually requested for an online registration,
– clearly indicate the information required for delivery. This concerns in particular the precise address of delivery as well as any restrictions of accessibility of the place of delivery (building, floor, access code …), your email address and phone number,
– indicate the delivery method chosen,
– read and accept the general conditions of sale,
– and finally, indicate the method of payment chosen.
Once the method of payment selected, you can proceed to the payment of your order on the secure interface, which will validate and confirm your order.

Tell me more about the Cool Machine Gift Card and how to use it

The gift card is a great gift idea to please someone you love. The gift card is valid throughout the site for 1 year. Choose the amount you want to offer: 25 €, 50 €, 100 € … or even more by cumulating. When you buy a gift card, you receive by mail within 1 to 2 working days following a file.pdf that you can print and fold to offer. It contains a unique code to enter when paying the person to whom it is intended on www.coolmachine.store. The total amount of the basket is then debited from the amount of the gift card. You can use your gift card on multiple payments, in case the amount of a first order is less than the total amount of the gift card. You can use the balance of the gift card on a next order.

Do you ship anywhere in the world and what are the delivery services available?

Yes, we ship worldwide, our customers are from all around the world. We use Bpost (Belgium postal services) and Mondial Relay (Werstern Europe) services. We provide delivery at home or pick up point as your address is eligible.

What types of packaging do you use?

Most of the time, good quality second-hand cardboard packaging, paper and protective wedging reused as much as possible so as not to produce more and more waste, but to guarantee sufficient protection of our products. Your orders are wrapped by Hélène herself, who takes care of your products and always make sure that your packages arrive in perfect conditions.

How do I know if my order has been taken in consideration ?

After having validated your order and proceeded to the secure payment, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. This is an order summary containing the nature, quantity, price of selected products, payment method and shipping address.

How can I access your Terms & Conditions, say CGV?

The General Conditions of Sale are accessible directly at the bottom of the home page of www.coolmachine.store site, or by the link you have on the checkout page, before you confirm your order.

Are card payments really secure?

Cool Machine takes secure payments and the confidentiality of information you give us very seriously. For this purpose, the site uses a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment method that allows the encryption of your bank details during their transmission on the network. Your banking data only circulate on the Internet in encrypted form, coded in such a way as to render them completely illegible. You notice that the transmission is encrypted by a software program when the symbol of the padlock appears in your browser.

What is the privacy policy?

We guarantee the confidentiality of the nominative information entered. I'm not getting the newsletter or e-mails. How to fix it ?

What are the prices? Are they TTC or HT?

The public prices on our webshop are the prices recommended by the artists and designers we distribute. Our prices are Excl. Taxes due to our French Status which does not allow us to express our prices All Taxes Included. T.V.A not applicable – micro-enterprise scheme – Article 293 B of the CGI. Orders to countries outside the European Union are maybe subjected to taxes and customs charges of the country of destination. These costs and the related formalities are the responsibility of the customer / recipient. They are to be paid directly to the carrier upon delivery.

How to know if the products are available? What if a product is not available immediately?

The products are accessible within the limits of available stocks or subject to stocks available from our suppliers. Some of our products are made on demand only and involve additional delays. These deadlines are indicated in the description of the article. If a product marked “in stock” is ordered but ultimately unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible. This item will be refunded and you will receive the remainder of your order.

Why are delivery costs sometimes expensive?

Delivery rates depend on the services of Bpost and Mondial Relay. We do not have a flat rate with other carriers and we must adapt to the rates of these 2 postal services. Also, it may be that you have in your basket an article sent directly by the artisan or the designer (dropshipping), for which the expenses of sending are added.

I was wrong, I would like to modify or cancel my current order. Is it possible ?

It depends on the progress of your order. For any request, please contact the Customer Service as soon as possible, with your order number and the reference of your product (s) via the contact form.

After how long does my order will be shipped?

The processing time and preparation of an order varies from 1 to 2 working days. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email where you can read the carrier information and the tracking number. In case of an order includes one or more products only available in “pre- order”, we will ship the complete order once all the products that constitute the order are at our disposal. If you want to receive quickly the products available immediately, we advise you to isolate these items in a specific order.

What are the payment methods accepted by Cool Machine?

Cool Machine offers you to pay your purchases by 2 options: Credit Card (via Stripe) and PayPal. Stripe is a highly secure credit card payment service and allows a large number of card types. Card payments are always made in euros. PayPal is a famous and highly secure payment service that allows you to not use your credit card on our website, if you have already subscribed to this service. It takes care of the conversion directly.

Why was my payment declined?

First, check your credit card details and the information provided to Cool Machine (last name, first name, etc.). Then try again. You can also contact your bank to find out if a threshold would block the authorization of your payment. If the problem persists, contact your bank.

Are there cookies?

A cookie is a file on your computer that saves you time on the Cool Machine website because it remembers your e-mail address. Thus, you do not need to login each time you visit Cool Machine. If you want to disable cookies, you can change the settings in your browser.

How to receive or no longer receive the newsletter?

You can receive all the good deals of Cool Machine by subscribing to our newsletter, either in the “My personal information” section of My Account, or by clicking on Newsletter in the menu at the top of the page. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can do it directly in one of our newsletters by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link.

Cool Machine is a small business run only by Hélène and Edouard. Despite our daily involvement, it may take a little while. We strive to respond to all requests in a timely manner, but please keep in mind that we are only 2 to handle all aspects of this business and we take the time to make sure that it is well done.
